According to Apple Service Plantronics Edge does not support iPhone 7 Plus
Hello, I have a very strange problem with my iPhone 7 Plus, which Apple service center could not help resolve the origin of concluding that the Planteonics Edge does not support the model.   When I use the Edge headset (produce date this year, latest firmware) via this iPhone other people hear me very badly, like a robotic or underwater. I even have it recorded on Voice Memos. Strangely, when I use Plantronics M90 or M55 for instance everything is ok. Plantronics replaced the headset yet still I have the issue. Of course, I tested the Edge on iPhone 6 and everything is great - the sound is crisp. I also tried resetting network settings and anything I read online that may help.   Finally I brought the iPhone 7 Plus (latest iOS) to Apple to run some tests thinking there may be some issue with the bluetooth module 4.0 version (which Edge supports, but M90 and M55 have version 3.0 I think). I erased the phone before submitting it. After a week they gave it back saying it passed all exams. As I tested a few times it with the staff there paired to that same Edge headset and everything was working normally!   Happy I went home and restored my iTunes backup, then gave a few calls and… the problem was there again every time I called.. I start thinking there may be some app somehow interfering with the bluetooth while talking but I cannot figure out which and doubt that iOS would allow that.   Does any one here have any ideas what may be causing this?   Thanks a lot for your attention! Hi there,

You have come through to the SDK (software developer kit) support forum. As yours is a non-SDK issue you would need to contact the dedicated product support team directly, via: www.plantronics.com/contactsupport for local telephone, email, etc. support options.

Thank you!
Lewis.

Thank you for your reply! I have already done that before writing here but was not able to resolve the issues. Thus, I purposefully posted it here thinking it is relevant to 'software development', and that also maybe someone with such skills would be able to propose OR program a solution to the bug. Regs
