In order to implement Plantronics Headset Call Control with Amazon Connect, a developer must link the Amazon Connect Streams API and Plantronics REST API (client-based) through the Contact Control Panel (CCP) embedded on a custom page with JavaScript. Visit the Amazon Connect Headset Solutions page to view recommended devices for the Contact Center.

Key Features after integration include:

  • Call control with call answer/end controlled by Plantronics headset button
  • Wireless audio link established with Plantronics headset when on a call
  • Agent Availability (offline or available) based on Plantronics headset Quick Disconnect (QD) connector with DA70/DA80/DA90 USB adapters
  • All geographies are served; global availability

Requirements:

  • 4 files that comprise the integration are:
    • Plantronics Amazon Connect.html
    • Amazon-connect-v1.2.0.js
    • Spokes.js
    • Util.js
  • Install Plantronics Hub
  • A Secure Web Server

Full Details of the sample code including Integration Steps are here:  https://github.com/plantronics/pdc/tree/master/Amazon%20Connect%20Sample [update 9th May 2022, this link is now restored]
NOTE:  This sample code has been tested with the current version of Amazon Connect, and Plantronics will be available to answer developer questions during integration.  In accordance to the developer policy available at http://developer.plantronics.com/node/551/ , this code is made available on an as-is basis.

duplicate message, see above

Does the Blackwire 3320 work with this solution? Would be nice to know if it works before implementing the solution.
