Plantronics Blackwire 5220 Series is not working with webphone when MS Team is active
We implemented HID headset integration with our webphone and tested it with the Plantronics Blackwire 5220 Series. It is working fine, but when MS Teams is active, it causes issues.
When pressing the Call Pickup/End or Mute/Unmute button, it sends invalid input reports. Instead of sending the expected
0x08
report, it sends 0x9B
(155).
This issue occurs only when MS Teams is active.
We also tested the Plantronics Blackwire 3220 Series, and it works fine, even with MS Teams.
The workflow is as follows:
When a call is incoming, we first send the Ring On report to the HID device. Once the call is picked up, we send the Stop Ring report. However, after this, the Call Pickup/End and Mute/Unmute buttons start sending invalid reports.
